As a corporate sponsor of the A8K, you help promote the sports of Cross-Country
and Track & Field to the students of Glen Ridge High School. Since
the first race in 2000, over $15,000 has been donated to the Glen Ridge Educational Foundation.
These funds have been used to provide student athletes with equipment and
training.
In 2003, the Ashenfelter 8K Classic will be a USA Track & Field (USATF)
sanctioned race. This years race will be a USATF Open Men &
Women 8 Kilometer Championship. As a sanctioned championship, the number
of runners is expected to grow to over one-thousand (1,000) with the number
of spectators to grow to over nine-hundred (900) from both within and
outside the community of Glen Ridge.
All sponsors will be promoted in the race brochure, advertising and along
the race course.
Since the first race in 2000, the combined attendance of both runners
and spectators will grow by 174% in 2003. Sponsors will be able
to become part of an ever-growing and popular event as well as help student
athletes.
As a sponsor your logo will appear on promotional brochures and logo bag
to be handed out to all participants. Additional benefits are available
at each level of sponsorship.
